当社は大阪府茨木市に位置する建築設計事務所です。
社名の『merakitecture(メラーキテクチャ)』は、『Architecture』をデベロップさせ、
『Meraki』(好奇心や懸命さなど熱量を示すギリシャ語)を付け加えた
これからの建築環境に適したあり方を探る当社の姿勢が表れています。
私達の特徴は、頻繁にクライアントを含めた各関係者と意見交換し、
設計とリサーチを繰り返しながら進めていく過程にあります。
私達はそうしてできた熱量の持つ建築を「メラーキテクチャ 」と呼びます。
その対象は小さな家具から多様なタイプの建築物、まちづくりまで多岐にわたります。
そして、求められる機能や性能を満足するだけでなく、「快適な環境」を探求する
ことで、ワクワクを添えて提案できる設計事務所でありたいと考えているのです。

We are the architectural farm where locates in Tanimachi district of the southern of Osaka castle in Japan.
“merakitecture” in our office name is a coined word. Our intention of “merakitecture” is to develop an architectural definition. “meraki” shows amount of a curiosity or hard feeling in Greek, and we arrange it before “tecture” which is a part of Architecture. We show our attitude to an architecture that we aim to search for the next new one and environment.
Our work has the remarkable study process that we often communicate with some related people of a project closely, and that we try to reflect it to our study while we repeat planning and researching. And we call the result of our study process “merakitecture”.
Our target includes various types and scales of objects; small furniture, several types of architecture, urban design, and other related of design. We don’t only complete to plan about function and specification about our targets, and we try to add new value that makes an impression on you.
